Interphone F4MC pairing with satnav

Hi all,

I'm looking to get the garmin zumo 390LM however I already have an interphone f4mc and I have a suspicion that I will only be able to play music, or receive satnav directions but not both at the same time?

Much googling has not found any real clarity so wondered if anybody knows for sure? And also if you would recommend the zumo 390lm.

If you use the radio / music streaming it will cut out when the sat nab gives out directions , it's a real pain in the arse as it seems to be a fair time before the music cuts back in , then another direction and repeat .
