As or the title, does anybody here know what needs to be done in terms of registering a bike with a frame built up from nothing?

Ive been having a browse at various engines with the idea of building a frame (to learn, a bit of fun) but I'm not sure on the best way forward.

Can I get a custom frame registered with an equivalent Vic check or would it be better to buy a salvage frame with v5 and registration and cut it down and customise it?

Ask the DVLA. Expect 3-4 different answers. Thumbs Up

The procedure for registering an unregistered bike is as complex as rebuilding an unregistered bike. Smile
