Bit of a sticky wicket here, just recently bought a Bandit 600, went immediately online to try and SORN until I get her MOT'ed - already SORN.
Then waited for proper V5C, tried again - still SORN.
Got reminder letter, tried again - still SORN.
today I get my LAST CHANCE!!!! letter, tried again - bullshit system still showing SORN.

I checked post office website which says I can request a form from them to take to the post office.
However I would assume by this point they will have already raped me for more blackmail monies.

What do BCF?

I'm confused.

You're trying to SORN a bike already showing as being SORN'd?

Where's the issue?

I see, just a personally written letter or is there a form I can download?
Would a letter along the lines of "I am writing to declare X vehicle SORN, as your systems would not allow me to via normal means"?

It's showing as SORN on all of their bullshit systems, but they're still sending me threatening letters.

SORN ends with change of owner. So when he bought the SORN is cancelled. So he needs to re-SORN it, but systems won't allow him to.

I had to do this for change of keeper. The guy on the phone helpfully told me what to include in my letter.

Wrote a letter by that just stated what the vehicle was (basically confirmed registration, my name, my signature and my address) and what I wanted to do (change to person x).

No need to explain why you're doing it by post. Doesn't matter. What matters is that they have to accept it, and if you phoned the DVLA this is probably what they'd tell you to do.

Cheers for the halp fellas.

Just been up to send the v890 and a covering letter to double up via Recorded delivery.

Now I just wait weeks to find out if those morons try to blackmail me again.
I already had to pay up once in my first year when I was an ignorant noob, but back then it was my fault.
