Hi,
this only place I can think of posting this, so apologies if it's in wrong section or not the usual type of question asked in here
Smile
ok, so I'm currently using my Samsung s6 which doesn't have the facility for memory card.
I have some files stored in this fone.
1 in particular, I would like to share or send to others.
BUT I'm unable to. I get told "file is too big"
it's a wsm 220 odd pages long, in pdf format & 60mb in size.
I'm using yahoo mail.
Anyone care to tell me how I can share this file?

Anybody that's read any of my previous posts will know how clueless I am with technology Smile

cheers,
GAZ

Gmail gives you free 30gb of Gdrive space.

Can upgrade to 100gb for like £1.60 or something a month. Can get 1TB for £7 a month.

Mega.co gives you 50gb free but Kim Dotcom has been a bit weird about them saying they're dodgy.

Not sure how unlimited but Amazon 1TB for $60 a year : https://www.amazon.com/gp/drive/landing/everything/buy

Only for their Google apps users, otherwise it's 15GB.

It's something like a dodgy Chinese investor tried to buy a metric-fuck-ton of shares, the New Zealand government blocked it and therefore (somehow) now own a majority share in Mega.

Unlimited is never unlimited.

I use Google Apps for Work so that's why I thought it was 30gb which is enough for me at the moment but thinking about upgrading to 1TB so I can keep all my backups there as if there was a fire, I'd lose everything.

I know unlimted is never truly unlimited but I doubt the average user could touch the sides on the Amazon unlimited account.

If you manage to find where the limit of how unlimited Amazon is then you'll really have got your money's worth from them. Laughing

But you're not going to find that limit. Don't kid yourself about it, the amount of bandwidth you'll use will barely even register on their scales.

Most likely true, but sometimes you find out unlimited isn't anywhere near what you might need (should you image hard drives for backups and want to store it somewhere). I think "lots and lots" should replace unlimited for marketing purposes.

My Dropbox is apparently 1049GB which for my purposes might as well be unlimited. Laughing

For every person who wants to use many terabytes of storage and even more terabytes of bandwidth, there'll be many, many more people who at most only use a few hundred megabytes.

Making a profit comes second to aggressively going after Google, Microsoft, Dropbox and other cloud storage providers.

Amazon Prime offers unlimited next day deliveries and the only problem people have with that is the number of cardboard boxes you get per order.

I'd keep it simple mate
use your PC/phone cable to copy or transfer it to your PC
(say the desktop) then you can send it via any of the services suggested easily as 8.6MB is a relatively small file nowadays.

yes I know about blootoof but unless his phonePC is already setuo
for that and as its small file, it will be quicker to just plug the fecker in

Bluetooth is hassle but setting up file transfer by wifi is nice and easy.

It is much quicker when you never again have to connect your phone by USB to transfer files. Razz

You're telling me that I've got a £600 phone with 64GB of storage and I'm only allowed 5GB of storage?
Fanks.

And google are giving this away with boxes of Frosties?
