Hey guys,

Buddy of mine recently got me the scorpio sr900i while he was in US.
I was wondering if anyone know how to wire it up? All it has is 4 wires but i can't find a place to connect them.

Er ... How about

Black - earth
Orange - tail light
Grey - indicators

I hope I misunderstand the question. Wink

50 bucks, removed from crashed bike. Ignition cut off and perimeter sensor are not working but the rest is fine. Don't think it was a waste of money.

Sorry i was really sleepy when typing that post.
I'm a noob when it comes to bikes wiring.
The question is: does anyone know where to connect those four wires? I mean, do i have to remove tail section to get to all the wires i need?
I don't want to rip half a bike apart just to find out its in different place Very Happy

Maybe someone who has same bike could give me a hint Smile

All wires are accessible by removing both seats.

Maybe someone can help me with this question.

Your wiring diagram indicates that your alarm should have at least 10 wires coming out of it. Maybe you should buy one without all the other wires missing.

There are 5 wires to connect in total. I am not sure if i can connect those 4 the way i described above.

If for insurance reasons i.e. for some worthless discount some brokers 'normally' expect the alarm to be 'professionally' fitted.

It's their risk so they want to cover their arses.

If only for show/peace of mind then woteva you find is good.

It's only for my relative piece of mind Smile
Bike is always parked securely near me, even at work. It's just something to alert me "if" something happens while i'm not looking.

Is this the one with the FM receiver to alert you if the alarm is triggered?

If so, and it's US spec, check that it's on a legal UK frequency.

I know .... for every "how do I fit this alarm" thread there's probably 10 wanting to know how to take the f*****g thing off.

So you have half the loom missing, leaving you with a motion/tilt sensor and some flashing indicators. Handy that you will be able to (possibly) hear it squawking as the pikeys drive away with it in the back of a van Thumbs Up

Probably would have been better investing in a decent chain.

Also predicting a "Why is my battery dead" thread from OP very soon.
