FFS, you're still bitching and moaning about a semi-feral animal.

Change the bloody record you boring arsehole.

That is quite funny,
Had to YouTube the video as the Guardian hasn't uploaded it for some reason...

All he has to do now is teach it the goose step, buy it a little Hitler outfit and then take it to crufts

Of all the crimes occurring in or around The Weedge the rozzers take issue with this one. It's just so quiet and peaceful up there, of course....

The Mirror are so disgusted and offended that they host the video in full.

Down with this sort of thing.

I honestly think this is scary that they would arrested someone for a video that may cause offence. Where is the line drawn, and who decides if its offensive? Will Jimmy Carr get arrested next?

All these Jewish leaders bitching about it too, i mean really. Get a fucking grip. It's so pathetic to hear they bleat about all the offence caused. If you dont like, dont watch the video. Which, btw, had 15k upvotes and under 1k downvotes. So a 15/1 of people not being offended.

It was absolutely the right thing to arrest him.

On the grounds of being a complete tit.

That cap, beard and ear-thingy are grounds enough on their own.

Oh and it is offensive, him not the dog.

It was the 'gas the jews' bit which got him into trouble, and rightly so. If he'd left that bit out, and just had a dog giving a Nazi salute, the whole thing could be seen as a harmless pisstake of the Nazis. Quite a few people have done it in the past - here's one from 1941:

Quote:
Hitler's henchmen were obsessed with a Finnish dog trained to mock their deranged leader, newly discovered Nazi papers have revealed. Dalmatian Jackie was taught by his mistress to raise his paw in a Nazi salute every time he heard the word "Hitler". And when they heard about the cheeky pup, officials in three German government ministries spent hundreds of hours plotting his downfall. Historians have found thirty official files about the dog, written as the Nazis planned their colossal invasion of Russia. Jackie was owned by Finnish businessman Tor Borg and his German wife Josefine, a well-known anti-Nazi. He was reported by an informer to the German Consulate in Helsinki and summoned for interrogation. Bureaucrats in the Nazi foreign office, economy ministry and even Hitler's Chancellery wrote meticulous reports on the mutt. In March 1941, the foreign office asked the Chancellery if they wanted Borg put on trial.

For anyone keeping score: case delayed yet again. After the Fiscal tried significantly upping the charges in court. Wow.

Why care? Because pug lives matter (gloriously, unrepentantly NSFW).

Quite the irreverent cvnt, he'd do well here.

Only obeying orders? Tut Tut

The pug is clearly the master race in the relationship, based on that 2nd link above.

The trails a farce and the courts are again stretching credibility by trying to jam a video on youtube into the meaning of the act. Which I assume is the one below.
127 Improper use of public electronic communications network

(1)A person is guilty of an offence if he—

(a)sends by means of a public electronic communications network a message or other matter that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character; or

(b)causes any such message or matter to be so sent.

(2)A person is guilty of an offence if, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another, he—

(a)sends by means of a public electronic communications network, a message that he knows to be false,

(b)causes such a message to be sent; or

(c)persistently makes use of a public electronic communications network.

(3)A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable, on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale, or to both.

(4)Subsections (1) and (2) do not apply to anything done in the course of providing a programme service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990 (c. 42)).
