The only ones that REALLY don't mix are vegetable based oils and mineral ones. You would know if you have a vegetable based one because you would have to have gone and sourced it from a specialist supplier.

To be certain, try mixing a little of both in a seperate container, if it goes lumpy or milky in colour, don't mix them.

cos my scooter has a MHR rep engine, i like to look after it. Razz so i put shell Optimax in it. and i also use either Silkoline scoot sport 2T, or Castrol TT racing 2T!

Mixing oils isnt the best thing to dom but aslong as they are similar oils it shouldnt matter too much as it is all geting burnt isnt it?

but id advise ppl to try to stick to the same oil throughout the lifetime of the scooter. and Fully synthetic is the best!

Of course the best is the castor oil based Castrol R.

You can't use it if your bike has been run on mineral oil...but the SMELL is fantastic (ever been to the classic racing or speedway?). I know quite a few people who put a little bit in their petrol tank just so you can get a whiff of the stuff Mr. Green

i kno, Sad that sucks. when i first got my first speedfight which was a X race (brand new) i ran it on Castrol R for a bit cos it smelt fantastic. but i couldnt afford it, so i changed to synthetic Casrtol 2T. but then its like a 1 way thing u can go from Castrol R to mineral oil. but u cant go back... why is that?????!

Because castrol R turns into jelly when it hits the mineral oil that is sitting about in your crankcases and bearings and would gum up the whole engine.
