hmm...spent my first week on the ts50 now..and can see a few things....

1) its painfully slow
2) it dosent like hills
3) its un-reliable
4) it goes well across feilds...

just gotta remember never to lend it to wave2k again.... poor little bike wasnt made to go up and down stairs Rolling Eyes

Do to be expected as it is a 50cc engine powering the thing so don't be expecting it to be amazing performance or setting any land speed records. Smile

You'd be surprised how painfully powerless they are compared the newer 50cc's, most of which claim about 8bhp at the crank.

I believe the Suzuki only has 3bhp at the rear wheel. Rolling Eyes

its waves bright idea of the day,..lol. not content with abusing the bike on the lumps and bumbs with littke jumps...he decides it would be fun to shhot up and down stairs with it....

Is it deresticted?

Most of the new one's aren't considerably more advanced as far as I know.

You can always get a big-bore kit for not much to give a decent hike in power.

If you want a properly powerful 50cc bike:

Top speed of over 100mph, 17,500 rpm, twin cylinder... think around 1000-500 rpm of that actually making power, so 14 gears to make use of that teeny bit of power.

my ar50 ... didnt think it waas too slow
been out today with a mate who has a speedfight (pooogeooo thingy)

he was overtaking me like there was no tommorrow

he has only had his cbt since friday, and i wanted to go round corners with speed
but he kept overtaking me so i had to slow right down Sad
