I've solved this by not having a car Very Happy

I still find myself nodding when I walk passed one though Wink

Especially fellow Fazer's.

I solved the not having a car problem by not being a peasant and getting a car

ha.. sadly not only am I a peasant but I also live in London. I can neither afford or justify four wheels at the moment (technically it would be six I guess as I'll still have the bike). One day though, one day!

It isn't safe to nod whilst on 1 wheel so I don't nod.

Riding on a sunny day, on a nice biking route, nodding gets to be a chore. So I just cane it and attack every bend - surely they don't expect me to nod when the sparks are flying from my elbow sliders? <end of Bodyguard shite drivel>

You're still a biker. Do it Mr. Green

I nod when walking, driving, cycling. The next step is to go out in the convertible wearing my helmet Laughing

I only do it at petrol stations if they've taken their helmet off.

Tell us again about how much you don't care what anyone thinks of you. The past twenty repetitions weren't convincing.

I wave at Land Rover drivers when I'm in my 110, (proper) Mini drivers when I'm in my Mini and nod at bikers when I'm on my bike.

Sometimes I do get confused. So apologies to Mini and Defender drivers who get nodded or waved at by the old bloke on a Bandit.

Had a laugh the other week in the Peaks with the campervan, did a proper head tilt nod to a biker, then pissed myself like a kid. He nodded back!! Good man!

My nod is to the right and down, like I'm glancing at the area about 8 inches behind my throttle momentarily. Did it in the van once and spotted a mirror I never knew I had. Shocked
If you nod to the left then you take it up the chad. Everyone knows that!

Surely when in the car you are supposed to tip your driving cap? That's what I do anyway.

Nod forward, nod sideways (apparently the correct one), right leg out at the ankle, or this if you're extra cool

(Shout Shaka Brah in your helmet as you pass)
