I got my grubby little mitts on Project Cars a couple of weeks ago and I wouldn't say I was bored with it after a few days.... it just made me want to buy a steering wheel (for about £150).

I did try downloading DiRT Rally, but it kept coming up with an error when I tried to run it after installation.... so I deleted it, I'll try to find the one with the Hotfix included as it does look quite a good game

I played this for about 30 mins, fuck me it's hard with an XBOX controller. I didn't do any research in to the game but I guess it's one of those suited to a wheel, pedals, etc?

Dirt 3 is fun. Well the little (multiplayer) gamemodes are, my favourite is outbreak, it has so much tension and but clenching action constantly, think they changed the voice chat but it used to be open mic by default. +Manual gear changing for better skids.

The cat and mouse gamemode is pretty fun too, where you have to bodyguard your teams mini while bash the enemies so your mini wins the race.

Yeah the game is definitely not easy Smile

However, it is pretty rewarding, if you invest the time into it, you can start to master it.

I too started off playing with a 360 controller and finding it very hard, but you do improve once you get the feel for it.

I also thought it would be easier with a wheel and pedals etc, and had been thinking about getting one for a while, so took the plunge and got a Thrustmaster T300RS.

Have not played it much with Dirt Rally yet, but strangely, to start off with found it much much more difficult again, and yet far more rewarding.

It sort of goes without saying, but playing with a wheel and pedals does transform the experience...but at the same time is very tiring especially with a rally game!
