Hello,

I looked about but not sure where too post? I am practicing for my theory, But I cant find much about the motorbike parts in the highway code? I know they are probably easy but I want to practice it all loads.

One more thing, On the hazard perception part is it any different to the car one?

Thanks. Thumbs Up

Try this.

https://www.all4bikers.com/theory/

Managed to find a practice test online. keep practicing and I'm sure they will give you the answers at the end. Best way to learn is by doing after all.

Hazard perception test is the same for cars and bikes. Just the theory test questions are different.

To be honest, there are very few motorcycle specific questions in the theory test - it's farcical that we have to sit difference tests for bikes and cars. You can probably blag it without any bike specific knowledge.

That said, any L training DVD from a supermarket should have a bike test practice section, and the sample hazard clips are very helpful.

Wouldn't agree as such, there is a fair few bike based bits.. stupid stuff like when you park your bike..what should you do.
What effect will travelling on motorways for long distances do to your bike... few of them are stupidly based on common sense.

Use the links posted above as it has a few Wheel Alignment questions in. Rain & Brakes question = both brakes.

Just keep doing the theory test on the link over and over again. After a few days you'll know most of them off by heart.

Personally I bought a DVD from WH Smiths and a copy of the Highway Code - made sure I read it thoroughly (first time in my life TBH as I passed my driving test in Germany !) - then did the DVD tests and Hazard films again and again and again !

Certainly paid off for me.

Only got 1 question wrong on the Theory - ironically about minimum tyre tread (it was the ONLY question that hadn't come up in any of the practice tests !) - and a good score on the Hazard Perception despite being kicked out of 1 for clicking too much !

You can't beat practicing and practicing !

I've got a DVD which does car/biker theory tests. For some reason it only does 35 questions per test, but it has all the questions in it.

That was the only thing I used for my revision and I got 50/50, and 55/75, so overall it works quite well!

"Driving Test Success All Tests 2011 Edition" was the program I used. I've got an 8GB iso which I would send to you, but that's a tad large for my 300kbps (at best) upload speed. It's only about a fiver to buy though.

The hazard perception test has very few white vans, Nissan Micra's, and surprise Volvo u-turns. Bike hazards everyone.

Imagine a hazard perception clip based on 5 mins of filtering through a city centre. Smile

There's little to nothing about bikes in the HWC. So I'm using the official DSA biker pack to revise my theory. It has the mock multiple choice questions. a revision bank and a 'bonus' disc which has hazard clips and reviewing.

It doesn't have HP practise (which is minorly annoying) but it's rather good in that it explains WHY something is a hazard and how you can interprete similar events further on down the road.

Cost me about £8 off Amazon Smile

Ahhh! I have my theory next week. I feel prepared I have done it once for my Driving License. But I just cannot get these motorcycle questions, some of them anyways.

Its usually a guess. Does anyone have a link for the questions? So I can revise them. I have the disc but I dont think there is anything on there to read them.

Thanks!

Do you have an iPad/iPhone? I downloaded:

Motorcycle Theory Test & Hazard Perception Test apps by Eknath Kadam. The theory test app has sections for motorcycle q's and you can do mock tests.

I passed mine on Tuesday with a score of 50/50 and 60/75 so deffo worked for me Smile

Good advice on here, people. Pretty confident on the M/c Theory just need to practice the Hazard Perception test. The all4bikers.com is an excellent aid.

Can I ask what scores do you need to pass in each section as I've got my theory next Saturday?

Reddeviljp - These are the scores needed for a pass mate.

Theory - 43 out of 50
Hazard Perception - 44 out of 75

I have my test this week! And I am still getting quite a few wrong, I dont feel that confident for it really, Its stupid ones like what do you find on a Vehicle Registration document and that.

Although I am getting the motorcycle ones correct most of the time now, So I guess I am getting better.
