If you can just 'pretend' that I stuffed vinegar soaked kitchen roll into the bolts and steel wool-ed the oxidization out, that would be mighty role-playing fine.

Let's also 'pretend' that I needed to clean the oil strainer and centrifugal filter and 'pretend' to replace the air filter.

How would I 'pretend' to go about doing the valve clearances... would I 'pretend' to take it to a hypothetical garage and have some spannerman 'pretend' do it for I?

All just 'pretend' of course... no bike in my garden...

I bought a 2011 cbf 125 that was first registered in 2012,

I started a thread in workshop as I am about to do abit of a service myself,
I even added pictures of the list of parts I've bought,
I'll be doing the service in a week or two,
The parts were quite cheap

Looks like it will be quite easy, bought myself a Haynes manual as well, should consider getting one yourself, Also there are quite a few YouTube videos on how to do it,
