got a few backups off a friend for the wii and have come to a wall when it comes to softmodding it to play them.

Ive got Homebrew installed but im struggling with the rest of the mods as nowhere seems to have working links to download them anymore.

does anyone have the files still and a guide on how to install them so i can run the backup channel and play the games.

thanks in advance
anthony

I used this when I did my spare a couple of months ago : https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/hacking-guide

I probably have the files etc. somewhere...if you're having difficulty finding any, let me know what you need and I'll have a look.

How old is the wii? I still have the original launch wii, and used the zelda hack. as long as you have HBC installed then you can install priiloaded and backup your nand, then update your IOS.

This guide is really good: https://www.wiihacks.com/showthread.php?t=96886

USB Loader GX works great for playing those backups from an external hdd.
