Wonder if anyone can help...

I passed my B+E trailer test 2 weeks ago where they took my license & sent it off to add the category, I haven't received it back & am planning on going to France / Italy / Switzerland on Saturday for a week, will it be a problem if I'm stopped not having my physical license card with me?

I think I still have my bike test pass certificate somewhere, which I will probably take just incase...

Cheers Thumbs Up

Bike will be seized, you will be executed by gunshot to the head, then you'll be fined 200 Euros at the roadside.

Marmalade is probably best placed to know.

Doesn't that depend which country you're in (although I pretty certain that's correct for Germany and Denmark)?
I think the dutch and greek punishment is 2 weeks in prison during which time your job is picking up soap bars from the shower room floor.
Cool

Just spoken to the DVLA, license sent yesterday should arrive tomorrow, about 5 hours after I leave for Dover. Bollocks.

Shall prepare my very sorry face.

Think carefully: do you know any motorcycle couriers who could bring it to El Francais for you?

All docs you are required to have. like v5, licence etc should be the real thing or a certified copy, as said, if you get pulled and you don't have them, a dry raping behind a hedge will follow, either that or many euros will need to be handed over.

I did 1000 miles through France yesterday on a rush job and forgot to take my bag full of docs etc and didn't get pulled.

If you don't ride like an idiot and get yourself noticed, you'll probably be ok.

Probably.

Just arrived home - didn't get raped Thumbs Up

Dropped into the sorting office on the way to the Chunnel at 6:30 & managed to get my post before the postman left - luckily the license was there!

Only encounter was with some Italian police who helped me find my way back to the campsite after my bike snapped it's chain on the shore of Lake Como.
