Erm, in all honesty it feels a little less heavy. I like it, it doesn't give me the scare factor, but then again I've had 5 or 6 years since I last rode a GSXR1000 and would assume I've got better at riding than before.

Its comfy for about 30-40 mins then you get a numb arse, so a gel seal is probably required.

I cannot recommend a gel seat enough. It boosts up the overall height of the seat a tad but when you hit the right spot it is so much more comfortable. Best Christmas present to myself ever Thumbs Up

Agreed Gel seat is the way to go. Had one on my K5 and it was much better. Got a K6 now and that's next on the list. I've a Racefit Growler on mine and it's bonkers loud but sounds awesome. Nice machine you have there bud. Ride safe.
