I recently mentioned in another post that two friends were setting off from Engomer in the French Pyrenees back to Australia. One on a BMW F650 GS, and the other on a 1988 Yamaha Tenere.

They've set off, stopping in the Alps for a bit, then via Germany, up through the Scandinavian countries, into Russia, then Mongolia, through China, south east Asia, then Australia.

I spent a couple of days with them in Engomer then rode the first (short!) leg with them to the Alps.

Anyway, they have a blog, link below, if anyone is interested in just reading what they have to say (they aren't BCF members but I'll try to persuade them), following their trip, or sending them a hello, feel free to take a look.

If I hear from them along the way, I'll update this post with their progress now and then.

I forgot to say you can also boost Mark Zuckerberg's profits by following them on the FB too if you're so inclined. There seem to be more frequent pictures and updates there.
