Schuberth SR2 fits similar to Shoei XR1100?

Hi
I currently have a Shoei XR1100 and it is the most comfortable helmet I had.
I also have a BMW system 6 Evo that gives me a headache and sore forehead after an hour or so.
Had a Nolan that I sold off because it gave me a headache as well.

It looks like the Shoei is my helmet fit.

I cannot try these on before buying because in my country there is no retailer for either.

I am considering the Shoei X spirit III or Schubert SR2 (or BMW race helmet which should be a rebranded Schubert).

I know that my BMW system 6 Evo is actually a Schubert c3 pro so I am worried that the sr2 would not be good for my head shape.

Can somebody help me out with this please?

Also where is the best shop to purchase the Shoei online please?

Shoei GT Air was the closest I found when I replaced my XR1100 this year. Arai Quantum ST Pro wasn't bad either. The GT Air is really well balanced and a lot quieter than the XR1100. You really need to get to a shop to try these on, though. I must have tried on over a dozen high-end helmets and had issue with almost all of them...

It sounds like you have an oval head shape if you get on well with the XR1100. IIRC brands such as Nolan have a rounder fit, which would explain why you get a headache from it pressing against your forehead.

Consider the Shoei NXR as well, that's made for an oval head shape and I find it fits me perfectly. As Spangle says, the Arai Quantum ST Pro is also worth trying because it's also an oval shape.

I'm not sure what sort of fit Schuberth has, I've never had the opportunity to try one.
