Since I had such a great time I thought I'd share with you guys.

I just spent a few days in Berlin where I hired a Kawasaki 900 custom with 500 km on the clock. Im not advertising so if you want the details, PM me.
A nice little tour around the countryside and city for a few days.

Also, and this was great,.. since the hire company didn't offer excess waiver insurance I found a third party provider (online) at about £1.75 per day. I figure this little gem of a find could help if you go touring and wanted to top up your regular insurance for a bit of piece of mind.

Obviously this is on top of regular insurance which was included in the bike hire (.. insurance for the bike, NOT YOU) Again, PM me for the details. Fortunately I did not have an accident so cant advise on the third party service but it was piece of mind on a very expensive machine.

Oh, the bike was Euro 79/day with 300km free and 35c per km after that, Its the cheapest tier and included the K.Vulcan S (650)

The area around Potsdam was closest to the city and was quaint for a little ride out, where as the north west of the country is more lakes and hills etc.
