Hi All
Found this, shame, I quite like the look of it, shame they only do a 125 version...
https://www.ajsmotorcycles.co.uk/#!cadwell125/g3ril
I think the engine is a YBR clone.
Cheers

Hi , agree with you there ,like the look of it, nice retro styling, and just right for the rider who doesn't want a sports style bike |

[Awaits stinkwheel's comment on the footpeg position]
That does actually look nicer than the 'cafe' offerings from Herald, Sinnis and Lexmoto, although I still think the Skyteam Ace knocks it out of the park.

Handsome little bike.
Would be interesting if it was done in other engine sizes other than 125. ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

Very nice looking bike. £2k is quite strong money when the standard Jianshe commuter is £900. There's always been a 33% premium to have the AJS badge anyway.
Engine is the same from the ECO, the short lived Custom and a truck load of other 125's
Developed in "conjunction" with Yamaha, it's basically a YBR125 ED with 4 plate clutch instead of 5.
The 150cc YBR big bore kit is a straight swap....apparently.
It really needs 150cc because 60mph is all it has, with the last 5mph taking some time
Interestingly they quote gas shocks as an available extra, but when clicking on the extras, it's not there. |
