Exhaust rebuild?

Morning all.
So I have a cbr600f3 that came jetted for a georgus sounding Yoshi however it's far to loud to use on a track...
Using the stock Honda exhaust kills the midrange completely :-/

I rebuilt it a few years back as the inner tube has rusted through and replaced it like for like with perforated steer tube however the inner diameter of the tube is around 30mm...
Far to narrow for any comercial db killer to fit in there.

Soooo I'm thinking of opening it up again, cutting out the inner pipe, replacing it with some wider pipe and boring out the end caps so that it can accept a db killer (and re-packing) however how wide would this inner tube want to be?

Db killers seem to be around 41-57mm?

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
