It seems to have gone a bit daytime soap...

From what I can determine:

Paddy Tyson, Campaign Manager, went off sick for a bit (paid, I assume). He then resigned and immediately recovered enough to go on a bike jaunt to Tibet. Exclamation His resignation was announced with "some" regret. Very Happy

Nich Brown, General Secretary, was "suspended" for... no specific reasons... and has just "resigned" for... no specific reasons.

Louisa Smith, Deputy General Secretary (?), has bailed as well, almost as an afterthought.

Handbags at dawn? Knives in the dark? Toys out of the pram? Laughing

Email him, if he has been aggrieved I am sure he will happily rant to about it.

OK, but it's looking a bit like the end of Blake's 7 at the moment.

Is Ian Mutch still there?
I always thought he seemed a decent guy.
They've had plenty of unfortunate fallouts before, Neil Liversausage springs to mind.

That will be me. Now got them all on DVD. And closer to 35 year old episodes.

All the best

I just got the 'constructive dismissal' - 'comfortable in the morality of our position' email too and wondered
Huh? whats that all about?
Don't remember seeing anything related previously, must have missed it

So, I looked on the MAG site but didnt see anything and it seems odd to have to look here to get a clue as to what been going on.

Anyway, more importantly
What happened in the last Blakes 7 episode?

gonna have to google it now.............

The Tribunal Judgement

Oh, that is awesome. Clapping

"the diplomatic credentials of a chieftain tank [...] [justifying] the presence of Bomber Harris at a Dresden Town planning meeting on the basis that he had been there before."

Anyone paying subs to MAG should read it in its entirety to see where their money is going.

.. and how interesting that it's him again that's caused the latest issues.

Still not sure why RogerBorg will only sign petitions that they're involved in, from reading all that it appears they couldn't organise a charity ride on National Cancer Day...
