I noticed recently pulling away in first felt snatchy like the chain was slack and accelerating i was waiting for the slack to be taken up, i had to pull away slower or the bike wasn't happy. Yesterday between sorting my car for its mot and the shite weather i adjusted the chain, i barely tightened it and checked at the tightest spot and various others that it was in spec. It's my first time touching the chain on here and i adjusted my cbfs chain once, i lined it up and it seems straight to me but the problem is still there. As you can see in the video its whipping around as if its loose but i don't think it is, its exacerbated in the video because the wheels not compressed with my weight, the effect was less noticeable the faster i went. I was wondering if its caused by the front sprocket, i got no service history with the bike and have no idea when the chain and sprockets were done. It's approaching 29k miles, the rear cog looked like it had some life left to me, not seen the front, chain looked like it could of been oiled more so im wondering if it has tight spots, the previous owner only used it 6 months a year in fair weather. It's my first big bike so im hoping for some guidance as to what to look for and hoping its not a shagged gearbox Confused .

Edit:-

the wheel is spinning up, and it gets to a point where is it is spinning faster than the chain is moving.

so the chain stops the wheel spinning any faster, then the chain goes taught because the engine is doing it's thing.

So this is normal? It didn't used to do this though, or if it did its become way more noticeable.
