That's... bold.

Insightful though.

Cox was the kind of virtue-signalling poverty-prolonging utterly worthless career parasite whom I would cheerfully have described as an oxygen thief before her beautification.

As things stand, all I can say is that I'm very, very sad that she was taken from us in this way.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the In campaign had pushed their extreme battle to this level. I've always said it's the big corporate types who have the most to lose out on if we leave the EU. These people are also the types who could easily use their power to engineer a political assassination.

The American establishment managed to do it with JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald. The Jo Cox thing is relatively small fry in comparison. Certainly possible.

Oh, I believe that They would, but not that They could, not in this manner.

Sure, They have form for it, but They don't leave witnesses, specifically the killer. It's far too fragile.

Looks like it is going to be #RemainForJo wot wun it.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised an MP has been murdered. The strange thing is MP's aren't attacked more often.

It's glee at having something to profess to be shocked about. We do so love our gossip, and virtue signalling intensifies.

The more I read about Jo Cox and the man who murdered her, the more frustrated I become that her tragic death is being used as a political statement against BREXIT.
Let me just say this, Britain First is not a terrorist group. They are a bunch of racist arseholes who have some pretty ill thought out ideas and until there is any kind of proof that they manipulated this man into what he did they can not be called terrorists.

The murderer like many before him with severe mental illness suddenly cling onto something and become obsessed before finally flipping out and committing a crime like this.

This has become more common since the care for mental health patients has declined and I believe it will carry on.

A South African far right group appears to be the catalyst for this man's actions but again there seems to be some confusion as to some of the comments from them in the media that don't make sense in respect of him disappearing from their radar in 2006 because he had moved. The media then state he has lived at his present address for 30 years yet not one person who knew him had ever heard him make any kind of political statement. I pretty much know the political leanings of most of my friends and colleagues so this seems odd.

Something is wrong here, very wrong and we watch the remain camp use it to twist people's opinions in a situation that already had them nosediving in the polls. We know from bitter experience that politicians will go to great lengths to fool the public if they have an agenda. Take the better together campaign leading up to the Scottish referendum.

In reality this referendum has two main points that appear to be getting blurred as both sides ramp up their fight.

Do we wish to remain in a union that is totally geared to be one big united state with all rules and directives coming from one central government. We know this is fact because Brussels has stated that and if you can sit and read through the pages on the objectives on the EU official site without falling asleep it tells you how it will be implimented.

Brexit is a leap of faith because we are not 100% sure how things are going to pan out but there is enough evidence to suggest we can do just fine. Immigration is not the only or indeed the main reason.

It's really down to that. Ignore the politicians for a moment, listen to what the big business people have to say then look into the background of those people and it becomes quite clear as to what their motives are.

Another thing to think about is this. We are threatened that if we leave, the rest of Europe will punish us yet Brussels and Germany also beg us to stay in the same breath. Several other European countries are expressing a wish to leave and Switzerland have decided they do not wish to join as has Norway even though they do pay money in.

If we voted leave and then realised we were wrong you can believe that they will take us back. If we remain and decided we were wrong its pretty likely that they will never let us go.

If it is true that the Euro zone is on the verge of collapse then what then?

So, remain or leave? Use your head and your heart when you put that cross on your ballot paper. All any of us can do is hope that the choice we make is the right one and live with the consequences if it isn't.

It's over. Even the Mail on Sunday are backing remain today.

What an absolute numpty of the nth degree this chap was. Clearly had mental issues. No sane person would do that a week before the referendum.

On the radio, a couple of days ago, one of the many rent-a-gob, politicians was whining during an interview on the killing.

The general thrust of his whinge was, that since the expenses scandal the proles were refusing to show any respect for MP's and, shock horror, were not averse to expressing hatred and loathing for the honourable members.
(No shit Sherlock, who'd have thought, Rolling Eyes ).
He went on and tried to explain, despite public opinion, that they weren't all self serving, self centred, sanctimonious, lying, cheating, money grabbing lickspittles. He didn't sound too convincing!

As I see it, the Borg's obituary applies to every last one of 'em!

Looks like Saint Jo didn't miss an opportunity for a photo-op with a formerly good charity since resolved into a cheapskate local authority contractor.

https://www.jocox.org.uk/2015/10/09/supporting-better-mental-health-in-batley-spen/

Mind get to pretend they do something for mental health, an MP gets to pretend they do something for mental health. Win win all round.

Charities are a scam. They're a careers ( https://www.mind.org.uk/vacancies-and-volunteering/media-and-celebrity-manager/ ) for the boys/girls and poorly paid jobs ( https://www.mind.org.uk/vacancies-and-volunteering/mind-in-croydon-assistant-projectmindmatch-worker/ ) for the frontline scum.

Do you think anyones had the conversation with the numpty yet, informing him that single handedly he's keeping the UK inside the EU?

I guess he's so delusional he'd not accept the point.

Bail application today. I await his pledge of allegiance to Nigel Farage. How bizarre to think that the future of a continent could be decided on how insane he is in the membrane insane in the brain.

Why was this moron, taken to London? 200 miles away. I don't understand this.

We ultimately won't know if this horrific murder has swung for remain. The only poll I would ever believe is the one on the 23rd.

I've always wanted to leave. My sister on the other hand (teacher, husband a teacher) has informed my mother that it is racist to vote leave.

The weather forecast is also looking good for Thursday, which is not a good sign for the leave campaign.

And sterling has jumped massively. Hmmmmm....

If we do stay in, i'll probably spank a grand in to €s if it goes above 1.45 .

Jo Cox championed the cause of the displaced, especially in Syria and Afghanistan, very vociferously. A natural progression from her Charity group work. Trouble is, she seemed strangely quiet on the subject of the child grooming rings in and around her constituency.
Amidst all the hand wringing and lamentations, the fact that thirty or so Asian gentleman were imprisoned at Bradford court for this crime seems to have been swamped by all the angst. As has been noted, her area has a high proportion Asian population....
I wonder why the investigations have to be conducted in London if its just a run of the mill nutter with insufficient medication.
I can see how a hand made gun could be manufactured, but no mention of the man having a workshop with the necessary lathe to make such an object.
Making a gun that does not explode in your hand is one thing, having it shoot multiple times is another. Ordinary pipe will distort after the first shot, that is why 'midnight specials' are a one shot affair. Only gun metal is sufficiently robust, a fairly specialist item, (and not easily machined, especially to the tolerances required).
He shot multiple times, at least three. That means the manufacture or procurement of the actual ammunition, neither an easy proposition.
To many imponderables, almost a Pearl Harbour incident.....
