He certainly doesn't come across as bright enough to engineer a multiple firing pistol.

The Great British Heroes who (with one exception) stood and watched him said that it was a single shot that needed reloading. One of them said "down the barrel", but I suspect something more like a floating breech pipe pistol (real life, not Fallout).

Gun clubs and owners are probably sweating a bit though and wondering where he got his ammunition from. #Justice4Jo will doubtless demand a crackdown on something, and the law abiding are soft targets.

Nah the bit that stinks is how fast TPTB and the news papers got hold of incriminating receipts. TPTB managed to get receipts from 1999 AND get them published in the national press by 6am the next morning.

Yet this person is reputed to have moved homes numerous times?

Hell when I worked as an accountant most of my clients couldn't even find receipts from a few days prior.

Jo Cox championed the cause of the displaced, especially in Syria and Afghanistan, very vociferously. A natural progression from her Charity group work. Trouble is, she seemed strangely quiet on the subject of the child grooming rings in and around her constituency.

Are you an expert on what she did and didn't say? Have you had a google for 'Jo Cox Child Trafficking' and found nothing so you think you can smear her for putting brown children before white children? Nice. Perhaps you could bear in mind that (a) you don't have the means to find out much of what she said (b) the 3 trials you're referring to were focused on Rochdale and Rotherham, neither of which are in her constituency (c) the media only has space to report on a few opinions but there are dozens of MPs with something to say on this. For a start there are 22 other MPs in West Yorkshire plus 11 MPs on the Home Affairs Select Committee which had an enquiry into Child Sexual Exploitation.

jjdugen wrote:
Amidst all the hand wringing and lamentations, the fact that thirty or so Asian gentleman were imprisoned at Bradford court for this crime seems to have been swamped by all the angst.

Rolling Eyes There is no reason for this issue to be shoehorned into coverage of Cox' death and the referendum.

jjdugen wrote:
I wonder why the investigations have to be conducted in London if its just a run of the mill nutter with insufficient medication.

The investigations are not being conducted in London. The trial has been transferred to the Central Criminal Court, aka the Old Bailey, because the crime is very high profile. This is typical. It's to be expected for the assassination of a member of Parliament. Another possible reason for the transfer to the Old Bailey is that the trial will happen under terrorism protocols, which means top security with the accused sometimes appearing by video link from Belmarsh.

jjdugen wrote:
I can see how a hand made gun could be manufactured, but no mention of the man having a workshop with the necessary lathe to make such an object. Making a gun that does not explode in your hand is one thing, having it shoot multiple times is another. Ordinary pipe will distort after the first shot, that is why 'midnight specials' are a one shot affair. Only gun metal is sufficiently robust, a fairly specialist item, (and not easily machined, especially to the tolerances required).

It's not likely it was hand made. Some reports say it was a sawn off .22 rifle. This is highly credible as large numbers of these rifles are legally owned in the UK for pest control and target shooting. We don't know yet whether Mair had a licence for one.

jjdugen wrote:
He shot multiple times, at least three. That means the manufacture or procurement of the actual ammunition, neither an easy proposition.

.22 rifle ammo is easy to buy if you have a licence for a .22 rifle. Owners are allowed to keep hundreds of rounds at home.

Have not heard of online shopping? The receipts are held...online. You can get hold of them using something called the internet.

Today yes, but look at the dates on the receipts.

The receipts are dated 1999

EDIT

Plus the company he bought them from stopped trading in 2002.

I don't think making a very crude one shot pistol would be overly difficult, assuming you do a decent amount of internet research and have some basic tools. Making an accurate pistol that makes efficient use of a particular cartridge is entirely more complex.
From what I've heard reported he fired his shots point blank, as well as stabbing away, so I'm guessing inaccurate and poor ballistic efficiency.

Of course he may be a bad shot and / or a crazy stabby bastard.

Getting the ammo, hmm. I can't see how he would of gotten hold of that legally, unless he used some kind of blank firing ammo as a basis for a homemade jobby.

The most likely answer is the 'borgs suggested heirloom piece.

Jo Cox was very supportive of kids in her constituency.
She always went the extra mile to protect them....Just so long as they were brown:-

Or, as reported, a sawn-off .22 rifle. They're used all over the country for rabbit shooting.

Seem to have touched a nerve!
Don't mind people espousing the cause of the Syrian or Afghanistani refugees we, after all, bear a great deal of responsibility for that particular mess. But, she was not a member of the Foreign office, or even Shadow Foreign office, she was a local politician.
She championed the freedom of women and children, she is acknowledged as a notable voice within Parliament. Surely she should have been outraged that at risk children were being trafficked, in the UK, mere miles from her constituency.
Nope, can't find a single reference to her saying anything about it.

I'm still trying to put together why a man who has never given any indication of violence, quite the contrary, should take it upon himself to mount an assassination in a small market town on an unimportant politico. Maybe he was unhinged to that extent, if so, he's slipped through every net of the medical system, what's left of it of course.

We still await any verification of the weapon, why? Its usually the first thing Inspector Knacker wheels out for the hacks.

High profile cases are usually heard by the area Judiciary, not shipped off to London, that only occurs if appeals are to be heard.

It all seems FAR too convenient, its stopped proper debate in its tracks, I wonder who is likely to benefit?

I see what you're driving at now...the military-industrial complex, and/or lizards dressed as humans, murdered an MP, with Tommy Mair as the patsy, in order to win the referendum. It makes perfect sense. The fact that the type of gun is a state secret can only confirm the theory. Your fruitless googling of the MPs public statements is a dead giveaway. If she had condemned the islamic paedo network, she would have been spared.

Ah..... I see your point. Accept all that the media tells you, they never lie, neither do the politicians. Make sure anyone expressing doubts is branded a conspiracy theorist with a shaky grasp on reality.
Pour scorn on debate, shut it down, just as the wider debate has, to all intents and purposes, been shut down.

It has obviously passed your notice that an important debate on the future of this country has been derailed. Yes, I can accept that this was just one of those things, sad and disturbing. But it is being used to heavily influence the outcome of the very future of this country.
If it helps, I have no axe to grind here, either choice that is made on Thursday does not bode well, staying in the slightly lesser of the two evils. I just object to this woman's death being shamelessly utilised to further the cause of one of the sides.

I love a good David-Icke-on-the-moon conspiracy theory as much as the next swivel eyed loon, but trying to attribute this to a false flag is pretty barking.

OK, some of the details may be embellished for drama-llamatic effect, but the core story is: lone headcase spends years moaning and panting over Race War instruction manuals, skips his meds and goes full cracker-snack.

Too many witnesses, before, during and afterwards. He may end up topping himself, and I'm sure there will be cries of "Did he? Did he?", but I'll be happy that yes. Yes he will have did.

Allegations of inappropriate behaviour were initially swept under the carpet by 'Save The Children'.
It was only after the alleged victims threatened to kick up a fuss that he reluctantly 'resigned'.
