Im having my CBT on Saturday and to cut a long story short am going to buy a sinnis apache 125. Im looking at insurance at the moment and keep coming across the question about imports. what type of import is the apache ? it says gray, parallel or official uk but I have no idea what this means.

would appreciate any help.

Okay great and any advice on how I can get cheaper insurance.

I have found it for £772 for third party fire and theft. I don't know if thats a good deal or not but really want to get it down if I can.

I've heard Rampdale can be well priced for new bikers - Asda motorbike insurance comparison is quite good for taking a look.

Have you looked at third party only?

TPO will probably be cheapest as a new rider. I agree with Rogerborg, except if you're parking on street then theft cover will have a big impact. Having an imaginary garage is quite beneficial, even if you're TPO.

sorry for the constant questions but I have my CBT tomorrow and im kindov nervous. I have very little experience, next to none. I had an off road bike which I practiced on for less than an hour and that's it but I cant find anything about lessons or practice before a CBT.

Grow a pair Thumbs Up

You'll be fine. Clue's in the title - compulsory basic training.

Just relax, if it doesn't go so well, you can always have another crack at it.

my lad cant ride a geared bike for shit, so much so that he/we just bought a new 125 scooter so he can get too work..

that said. even he managed to do his cbt on a ybr, just relax, forget its a test, and think of it more like your paying £100 for an experience fun day, the practice in the yard is more so you don't get deaded out on the 2 hrs of road fun that your paying for

at the end you get a nice lil certificate, just like in the LEGOLAND driving school ride

you will do fine Wink
