Alright all, (TL:DL - Can I ride around London at 4am on a Sunday with no fucks given?)
Not a multi-hemisphere big tour, but I need some advise for riding on our fair capital city..
I've ridden and driven through London a few times - but years ago when I first migrated to the south I went on a few night / early morning drives around London in my car, but then it was no ANPR cams, no congestion charges etc.
What I'd love to do is go for a early morning tour of London - Dawn at Tower Bridge, donutting Parliament square, wheeling past the palace, that kind of thing. I'm riding a 2001 Bandit 600 with my other half pillion, she's experienced at pillion and all that.
What I would like to know is, can I ride a "old" bike (2001) anywhere in London, what time / days do the charges kick in and does anyone have any good routes - I'll be coming in from the A127 / A13 way east to west - Also is London still "empty" around 4am on a Sunday? and is there anywhere else (apart from ACE) to go for breakfast - truck stop is fine, as is some over priced Breakfast Bistro in Camden..
TL:DL - Can I ride around London at 4am on a Sunday with no fucks given? ____________________ ybr125 Sold, GSF600 K1 Bandit (For Sale), FJR13000 gen2. |

There are no charges or restrictions for riding a bike in London, at the moment. You have to obey any of the usual road laws like bus lanes etc that apply. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
