Just got it today. Been messing about with it. Tis good. (28 in 3 weeks. ) a hell of a lot of the blokes were playing it today in MK when I was out shopping with the missus.

They recently announced they're pausing UK release while they obtain a fuckton more servers

Just sideload it Pretty sure the save data is held server side to prevent cheating so replacing the app when it comes out shouldn't wipe your game

I went to the easiest gym I could find tonight, which was in a little village near Bradford. It was in a church, which was closed.
Because it was closed, I couldn't get near enough to the GPS blip to challenge it. Ended up going to try one in a more popular spot and got my arse kicked.
Worked out what I'm doing now and how best to level up. Will soon have massively powerful Pidgeot, Golbat and Beedrill.

Also, 400 candies to evolve magikarp is a royal piss take.

These eggs are annoying. Walk 2-5km to hatch them, but I've walked about three miles this morning and it's still showing 1.3km.
Am I meant to have my phone in my hand, unlocked, sucking down the battery the whole time?

I worked out if you turn on battery saving mode and turn the phone upside down it shows a black screen so doesn't take much juice to run.

I just have, there is a cemetery around the corner to my work an in there I found a gym an two of the things that gives you free shizz - which was nice

Except for the W@nkers who now take their sweet time walking around the station and city looking for Pokemons during the rush hour. This guys was slowing down all the passengers are they were trying to get out of the platform as he did his thing with Pokemon Go.
