I've always quite liked Hornet's 6's and 9's. I'd still have a 900 myself as I like the engine and the minimalist look of the bike. Its about as modern as I'd go though!

I like the colour and the bike looks good, but I've got to ask why are the bars bent upwards at a silly gay angle for?

IMO it's braced wide low rise renthals with a bar pad or nothing on a naked bike.

Never really noticed it to be honest, they're just renthal flat bars with hardly any rise or angle. I can see what you mean looking at the picture but in real life they're extremely flat. Bar pads belong on crossers for me.

Wonderful bike though!

Thread title suggests either could be posted Thumbs Up

....but I do agree, that RSVR is definitely not pretty. Not in a conventional way anyway, although there's definitely something about it. Probably like that crazy looking chick you meet in a rock bar; Unconventional looking with tats and a ring in her nose. Not the usual type you go for, but turns out she ends up being the best ride you've ever had Twisted Evil

Oh, it's an incredible bike and I was not questioning it's inclusion in this thread, however the OP suggested the bike was a 'true naked(no arguement)/Fighter(much arguement)...

Very unique, cohesive looking machine in a sea of angular dross (looking at you MT-10)

Love the colours as well.

Beautiful!

How do you find the 1050 against a 675 Street?

I'd toyed with the idea of a Speed before I went Striple. Never rode the Speed though!

I havnt riden the street to compare. but being spoilt with my gsxr 1000s torque I detest riding 600s on the road now, hence the speed.

I don't find it the hooligan machine that it was made out to be. it turns nicely and feels nimble, much shorter gears than the gsxr which is what I was after but can still comfortably blat past cars with a slight twist in 6th.

if I'm honest I want to try a mt-10 with view of going from 2 bikes to 1. the triple engine feels quite flat to me with smooth usable power up to to the red line with no real rush.

it's also much taller than the gsxr I can just about tip toe it and I'm on flat foots with the gsxr. which I hate.

Bike came with Renthals when I bought it. Since added bar end mirrors & Delkevic can. Very Happy

The top box rack is only 4 bolts so will only be used when necessary... The screen's staying though, it's added 20+mph to my comfortable cruising speed.
