I've been looking and the cheapest I've been able to find is £26 for a new filler unit in the right size.

It seems a lot of money but I want something good as the original one on my bike seems shitty and I think is leaking right now. Also can't find new replacement caps.

Where can I get the cheapest new filler neck that would be good for my motorbike?
Yeah mate the question was hiding xd
it keeps overheating and boiling coolant into and out of the reserve tank but doesn't piss it out from the radiator or any hoses. I don't have a pressure tester and they are expensive but I assume it's the cap as I have bled the system many times and it's still overheating.

+bet you're great with girls, not picking up on subtle hints and reading into shit, I'd be with them now if I didn't break my phone.

+ if you're so good at picking up on shit, you'd have understood that I would like to try to help but couldn't quite understand what you were asking for. One for a particular bike? A cheaper custom one? A gold plated one with knobs on? One that someone might have knocking around in their garage?

OK. Lets start again. What EVERYONE else has asked is.....

WHAT BIKE ARE WE LOOKING AT, FOLLOWED BY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE Rolling Eyes Embarassed

Simple check. Have you tested the stat? Is the water pump working? Does the fan work?

Of course it won't leak out of the hose or the radiator, unless they have a hole. So the place it goes is out of the expansion tank Rolling Eyes

Thermostat works but I'm not sure if correctly (checked it moved in hot water, didn't monitor temps), water pump works as impeller spins round when cover is off. There is no fan, it's a JC20 NSR 125.

I believe it's fucked because I've ran water for a long time with no coolants, the coolants help preserve life in things and I reckon shit's gone bad.

And thanks Evil Hans for wanting to help Wub

edit: I actually have a neck and cap I can try out Razz is for my project bike but I'll try it on this one before I buy anything.

Water cooled bike without a fan?????

When does it overheat?

https://www.nsr125.com

would be the best place to ask.

I was just asking for the cheapest place to buy new filler assemblies, all water cooling systems pretty much work the same.

It overheats when it feels like it, usually when there is a lot of air in the system. If I bleed all the air out it will be fine until I stop, then it will be fucked next time I set off and coolant will boil, I'll then just fill the reserve while it's warm and as it cools it will drink the water from the reserve. //small because doesn't make sense and is irrelevant.

Yes and a fan is a pretty important part of that, to create airflow when stood still...

That last bit you think is irrelevant speaks a lot about your issue. Embarassed
If you bleed the air out, then unless you have a issue (change rad cap, NOT expansion tank cap) which is allowing air into the system. Then you could be looking at a head gasket issue.

Try blippng (4 to 5k) the throttle with the rad cap's off to flush the air out.

Yeah that's probably the fucker, just started the bike and revved the engine for about 5 mins and the coolant didn't boil out of the reserve and temp didn't go over halfway. I also had problems with the head gasket blowing before, will make them flat some more.

Thanks for being persistent and getting through my shittyness and helping me. Saved me buying something I probably don't need.
