Honda P50 Embarassed

Generic picture as I haven't got any of my bike. I had it before digital cameras existed. Laughing

One of these:

1979 on a T mine was, think I paid about £75 for it. Mine also had a back box and shopping basket on the front for added masculinity

No photo's, it's getting on for 30 years ago, but piccie is pretty much identical.

KX85 Big Wheel.

This was followed *very* quickly by a KX500, straight swap as a well-meaning kids parents got him the KX500 as a first "proper" bike coming from a PW50, not realising he was terrified of it and wouldn't get on it. I however nearly killed myself many times on it.

Not sure I've got a picture of my actual bike, but it looked just like this:

https://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg555/jinlunchop/Mobile%20Uploads/piaggio__zip_50_new_great_inspection_2000_1_lgw_zpsq43jd5bf.jpg

I threw it down the road not long after having it, was icy and I was cocky... Four Santa Claus appeared over me as I was laid down on my back and asked if I was okay. I thought I'd hit my head harder than I'd first assumed; very surreal...

Cbr600f sport after my DAS, pretty good first bike I'd say! Never really got any potential out of it though. I read a magazine article about 5 months after passing my test of the zx6r B1h and I sold the CBR to buy one shortly after..

This awful bit of kit that I purchased for £450. I don't have many pictures of it. Not even sure why I took this one however every time I fixed something on it another thing would break/fall off.

VT125 Shadow. I felt like easy rider. Actually liked this bike and one day will get a larger version....when I get fed up with sports and asbo bikes.

As a 15 year old I had one of these as a field bike. Taught me how to use clutch gears brakes etc. Couldn't kill the thing, bike equivalent of a cockroach. Only had 1st 2nd and 4th gear but it was the best £20 I have ever spent. Even remember the reg no MMC 105P

First legal-ish bike was one of these. Micron pipe and smaller rear sprocket and I could even overtake the school bus with my head on the tank

One of these:-

https://www.vjmc.com/images/GT125E_001a.jpg

(not my actual bike/photo but exactly the same), despite being second hand when I got it, it was, absolutely, mint, it had done just over 3k.
Bought it off an OAP, who'd stopped riding it after 9 months of ownership, from new.
Never missed a beat in the time I owned it, not sure how accurate the speedo was but it would max out at an indicated 85mph.
First in a long line of 2T's for me, passed my test on it, sold it and bought a 250LC!

Reviving an old thread.... but I recently discovered and old long forgotten photo album in the loft.

Hopefully the images works.

This was my first bike in 1990.

https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18403287_10154202153976706_5322428998498763722_n.jpg?oh=824b5c3e00ce8fcdba499fee03ee52d8&oe=5A343092

A 1984 (I believe) Yamaha DT 50 MX.

A year later at the age of 17 I leaped onto this...

https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/200271_10150105054926706_1226057_n.jpg?oh=87cba6118b260fe04465c7f21b202b7a&oe=5A341D88

sorry only got photos after the event, but was a really tidy Suzuki GP 100 before the old Volvo driver pulled out in front of me.

This was followed by an old 70s Yamaha RS100 (pre-RSX) that I bought in boxes from a farm. No pictures of that one sorry.

TZR125cc 1989 on an F

£1625 new, ended up paying £3560.00 to Lloyds Bowmaker for the privilege.

Bought from Cat Motorcycles in Maidstone (now called Inta Motorcycles)

Think the same guy still works there.

£739 new on the road, trail version of the AR80, wrecked by falling off loads, seizing, and me being 17 years old with no idea, sold after passing test 18 months old to local dealer, ran off with the money to buy a CB250RS
