Hi all,

I had a 2005 Honda CBR 600rr from 2005 - 2008. I stopped and sold it due to private reasons. I always had the itch to get back, and now my situation changed and I can and will get a bike again.

I'm thinking of getting the same, but newer model, bike again. I'm basically starting fresh again, but believe I will not be satisfied with a "beginner friendly" bike e.g. cbr 500. I also believe that I am responsible enough to learn and get back into biking on a cbr 600, it was my first and only bike when I started years ago anyways.
Now the thing is....I'm currently on a tight budget. So my question to you guys is, which 600 sportsbike would you recommend in the price range of $6000-7000 canadian? I have no clue how old a bike can be, and what an acceptable mileage number is.

if it makes a difference, i am 32 years old.
Thanks!

My brother recently got himself a Yamaha XSV650 Dragstar.

Not my cup of tea, but he seems to like it. He's got all the gay leather saddlebags and shit on his.

Such a vehicle may meet your criteria. If you like that sort of thing.

This forum is predominantly UK based, so it's unlikely many (if any) of us know what the prices are like in Canada.
It's also difficult to comment without knowing what you'll use the bike for (just fun or will it be used for your 2 mile commute to work through heavy traffic etc etc.).
