The odd one here was that the shooting was 12.30am and one of the victims at the club was 12 years old! Shocked

Yeah, but they still must be Muslim, right?

Nah, atheists on this one I reckon. Had it happened in Germany, with it's million or so imported potential =.

The official figure is 4-6 million actually. Germany has been taking 500,000 a year since 2010 2015 had 1.5 million and 2016 has already exceeded 2015's tally.

Of course those are the documented ones that the authorities know about.

Given that gun ownership in the US is legal, and given that this kind of thing is a rather common occurrence, at least according to several decades worth of film and TV series, I'd say that the shooting is a total non-event that only made world news because it's a hot topic right now.

We're talking "fugees" here, not total immigration. But 4-6 million in such a short space of time is a bold statement for a country with a population of only around 80 million.

I wonder how their immigration policy is working out for them?

Oh nm then.

The month by month stats are from EU stat are here though:

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/asylum-and-managed-migration/data/main-tables 664600 since last July.

It's a hot topic in the U.S., because they still haven't worked that having widespread gun ownership is a bad thing. That and they probably didn't know the victims were black Thumbs Up

I hope that anyone from BCF would come up with something more impressively depraved than just shooting a few people at random.

With a bit of effort, it'd be possible to recreate scenes from The Last Post Wins thread that get broadcast on live television around the world.

Dance!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.

This happened just South of where I live and warranted about 20 seconds of coverage on this morning's news. The drunk driver who killed a bicyclist and then attempted to remove the body from the bonnet by doing 'doughnuts' in a nearby car park got more coverage! (I'll wager that one didn't make international news!)

This time of year is always more violent because the little shits get to roam the streets seven days a week, bored out of their skulls (which are also getting a nigh on 100F cooking on a daily basis and can't help matters) with nothing better to do than cause trouble.

So you have to ask why one little nightclub shooting is anything to do with ITV news.

It's about as relevant to the UK as the occurrence of witch doctors removing limbs from albinos.

Worthy news over here, however.

Project fear appears to be in full swing, and it isn't just them evil terrorists keeping it going, it's news corps out for easy stories for easy ratings.

Fantastic times to live..

So are ethnic minorites being popped by trigger happy coppers, yet they make the news?

UK tourists sporting an all year round heavy tan are far more likely to get stopped in their hire cars than be found in the kind of areas where black-on-black violence tends to occur, so police violence would have some relevance to UK viewers.
( Mind you, it wasn't too many years past that two UK whitey's got killed when they entered a delightful neighbourhood about a mile up the road from here, they were daft enough to go looking for drugs!!)

Last year we had 24 gun deaths in this county.
