Fairly average for the French attacks.

Probably religion of peace.

They love to bang on about banning guns, but it's way quicker and easier to kill lots of people with a car or truck.

Maybe they could introduce car licensing.... oh wait Wink

It's too early to ascribe causes, I think it's about 50:50 Trump or Brexit.

Here's hoping Le Frogs see the topical necessity of pruning their current crop of corrvpt scvm political-aristos in favour of ones who will actually defend their nation against a hostile occupying force.

How many more must fall?

From this I deduce that it's nothing to do with Islam... Rolling Eyes

This right here is why I cannot see the point of all the bullshit airport security in the 'post 911' era (god I feel dirty writing that).

I realised, literally seconds after I watched that second plane crash into an office block, that if people want to kill people, people will. No matter how much you legislate, restrict, confine, imprison, ignore or otherwise treat them.

All the world seems to want to do is pander to this crap - so I fully expect to see hire trucks (2 axle, white ones) being retrofitted with remote controlled driverkill devices throughout the western world as a 'matter of some priority' (if we can only stop wringing our hands for long enough to do something)

Bullshit. Get on with life as you know it, or they've won. Whoever they are, this week.

Being a little bit SRS just for a second.

Froggy Hitler-in-a-Frock Marine Le Pen wrote:
Nothing that we have proposed has been put in place. Considering the new nature of terrorism which is now a terrorism of opportunity, that’s to say without hierarchical structure, the urgency is to attack the ideology on which this terrorism is based.

And in this space, nothing has been done, absolutely nothing – no reintroduction of double punishment, nor depriving people of nationality, nor the closure of salafist mosques… nor the banning of certain organisations. In truth we are not at war. For the moment, we are in a war of words.

Rather than closing snackbar training centres, a salafist mosque opened in Nice two weeks ago, over the objections of the mayor.

So, how's that liberté, égalité, fraternité working out when confronted with an ideology that detests and rejects those concepts? How do you kill an enemy with kindness when he views it as despicable weakness? How do you win the ideological war when your best qualities are the very things that the enemy hates and wants to destroy?

By not giving up to them and keeping the principles of liberté, égalité, fraternité for all regardless of race or religion. This is not called kindness. It is called democracy and rule of law. That does not mean we should not destroy the scumbacks in Syria and Iraq.

Such attacks are designed with the hope of triggering a racist backlash. So that they can recruit.

So far after every attack the European far right have tried to give ISIS what it wants but have largely failed to generate the racist programs they also desire.

We fight them united with open borders. That is called free Europe and we will keep it this way reagrdles of far left/right, Pegida or Putin.

Clarify this for me. Why is it OK to slaughter them in Syria and Iraq, but if they manage to make it over here, then they get an assumption of innocence, and a free house and legal representation? It's the exact same Thems.

Leaving aside that they're doing a fine job of slaughtering kafir with the numbers they already have, let's accept that for a second. They want us to persecute them in order to drum up more jihadists...

Val wrote:

...but they also want open borders so that their jihadists can extend the hijrah into Europe. Sharia über alles.

So: we either given them what they want by persecuting them; or we give them what they want by not persecuting them.

What's the endgame there? Where's the winning strategy for us?

Keep repeatedly doing what we're doing and I'm sure it'll all turn out fine in the end and we'll get the right outcome.

Can an attack like Nice ever be stopped?

If we want to live in a free and open society, then no security infrastructure could ever remove all the risks.

But there are really effective methods to stop lorry attacks and to protect public spaces. I'm among a small group of journalists fortunate enough to have seen one of the key methods tested, quite literally, to destruction.

I knew it. I am so sickened and enraged by this kind of lazy-journalistic, wanky over-reaction bollox. The BBC should be ashamed of this. It's like they want to cow us into a corner and just stop 'being'.

End game is democracy wins. The winning strategy for us is to keep our freedom.

Do you see any other end game?

What is the end game that far right proposes? To become friend with Putin like Farage suggest? To abandon all freedoms and start persecuting all the innocent cause Le Pen and Pegida want "revenge"?

You don't have a winning strategy.

Val wrote:

As above you don't a winning strategy. At best you have a delay strategy you don't even have a draw strategy either. Well unless you're willing to commit unspeakable acts of evil.

Why?

Because the status quo means you get bred out into a minority in as little as 30 years. 600 million + MENA refugees and the water crisis will push them to Europe. Fertility of outsiders is double that of UK natives.

Once certain groups get to a certain size they will vote in parties that will campaign for how they want things done.

You can turtle like Japan say a wall with killer robots patrolling 247 but then you have a population collapse and then get encroached by outsiders. The unspeakable acts of evil? Producing designer diseases that wipe out entire populations based on particular genetic markers.

Everybody else's strategy is simply do the stuff they're doing now. Asia and economy? Just keep producing and starbucks you out of business. People with different life style choices? Keep on breeding.
