Hi,

try changing the sprockets. This should give you a bit more speed.

Other than that there is the big bore kit which makes your bike unreliable. My nsr125r only does an indicated 100mph downhill with the wind at the back of me.

In my opinion buy a bigger bike. Thumbs Up

hi

i have a 1990 ns125r, by the way ur bike is an ns125r not nsr125f, i konw this cause of the year it was made.Anyway my ns125r only does 70-80 aswel and it is fully de-restricted with the same engine.only thing i can think of is to change the gearing on it.

Dont put reed valves or an airfilter on it cause it does nothing atall

The NSR (not NS) was made from 89 so it is very possible that its an NSR125F.

Finney - is it electric start with a gold frame? If so then its an NSR, if not its an NS.

NSR125F is half faired, so that will affect the top speed. The previous owner of my bike said he could only get 85mph downhill with a tailwind Confused The early bikes were not restricted in any way, so I am thinking that the importer may have done something to the cdi. Once mine is run in I will see what I can get out of it and investigate further if it doesn't go past 80mph on a flat road Smile

I guess your bike is an italian import as well?

The NSR125F is unfaired. The most I had out of mine was 85~90ish.

I thought they regarded it as half faired? I mean it has some plastic on it Smile

*shrugs*
