Well ive moved onto a bigger bike now and im wanting to get rid of this piaggio zip50, but at the moment i really dont want to as there is a problem with the throttle,
everytime i opend the throttle fully it just died. engine still running, but didnt go anywere,
now after a "buzz" about for about half a hour (after the auto-choke kicked in)
it did the same, but this time it died, then very slowly started to shudder and pick up again, then wen the throttle was pushed forward past the dead spot, it picks up like nobodys buisness, any help guys
thanks Steve. ____________________ Current : 06 Zx10r, 07 Wr450f SM, 74 850 norton commando, 63 bsa b40, 1962 Triton 650, 67 Triumph Tr6r, 1955 Triton 750, 1978 TY250E. |

Could be a faulty throttle cable... or a dodgy plug, which however cannot explain why the bike picks up... A cable will cost you in the region of 60 quid including installation. Get it serviced for it's electrics would be your best bet, although i had never experienced problems as such on my old NRG. ____________________ The Tot 2007 Yamaha R1 4C8 2002 Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer &
