Hi everyone, I have a fairly cheap action camera that's had the record button go sticky and looks to need replacing. I could buy a new device for about £60 but I'd rather repair this one if I can as it's been brilliant up to now.

Does anyone know the specific name/code of these two PCB switches?

I can find similar ones where the button comes out of the top, but I need one where the button comes out of the side. The main body of them measures 3.5mm across and they have four legs

Cheers

Will be tricky to track down, had a brief look and couldn't see. Can you swap the record switch with one of the less-needed ones, might be a quick fix?

You'll need measurements. Even if you can track one down you'll probably need to buy a load of them and pay unreasonable delivery charges. You might be lucky and find them on ebay but unlikely tbh.

Thanks both of you, re-using ones from elsewhere is a good idea! Also I think I've found them on RS components so happy days

What I would do is decide which of the other four buttons are the least useful and swap the sticky record button for the less-used one.
