 |
|
I'm after something like the Logitech G13 - but without the massive price tag (or the screen) - I just want 10+ keys that I can assign macros to (not for gaming - just productivity)
My fall back option is this mouse - but I think I'd prefer a small keyboard for my left hand.
Any suggestions? ____________________ '12 NC700S & '12 CB600F Hornet [Stolen by some dickless twat] Suzuki GT500 shed |

Thanks - although I've found this:
https://www.hidmacros.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=241
It allows you to stick in a USB keyboard (or pretty much anything else) and have it as a macro board (I've just tried it with the example script (which assigns 'c' to calc.exe), as a test I opened notepad, typing 'c' on main laptop keyboard does as expected, typing 'c' on USB keyboard launches calc.exe - no keypress is logged in notepad) - perfect for what I want.
I'll pick up a cheapy number-only keyboard for £7.99 (like this this one) and job's a carrot! ____________________ '12 NC700S & '12 CB600F Hornet [Stolen by some dickless twat] Suzuki GT500 shed |

I quickly realised it was hard to shortlist which commands I wanted on the pad - I thought 10 would be enough, but then I realised it'd be nice to group similar commands together (even ones that don't actually need chords/macros to run).
I could've used another full size keyboard but it's unwieldy and going away from a handy macro-board - so I've ordered this one for £13.51:

It has a decent number of keys but it's still very much one-handed. I'll definitely be applying my own icons though! ____________________ '12 NC700S & '12 CB600F Hornet [Stolen by some dickless twat] Suzuki GT500 shed |
