Just wondered if there were any old school pen and dice RPGers on here? Or am I the only dinosaur? Laughing
The one I've played most, is White Wolf’s - Vampire: The Masquerade.

Actually, not for a good while. It's hard to get the players together these days, with all them electronic etch-a-sketches and whatnot that the kids are using.

Back in the day I bashed dungeons, quested for runes, FASERIPed, and GURPed.

Nowadays the closest I get is a game of Munchkin, and usually Zombie Munchkin at that. Crying or Very sad

My next door neighbour likes X-Wing miniatures, but I didn't think much of it to be honest. I'd rather play Tie Fighter on the PC.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You just make me snort coffee over my desk. I had to Google ‘GURP’
It says “A term used for a burp after giving a blow job.”
Laughing I never did that round a table with a group, while shaking my dice. Laughing

Get your natural 20's out for the lads.

Oh wow, now I'm having Paranoia flashbacks to Booty Calling Cthulhu.

Laughing I was never into tentacle/hentai stuff.

I was a bit of a White Wolf fan girl. As well as V:tM, I had a go at Mage the Awakening and Werewolf the forsaken. Mainly VtM though. Then people got older and stopped playing. Sad

I orbited the Storyteller milieu while I was being slurped by Shoggoths - I could never raise my angst high enough to take a bite at it.

In retrospect, White Wolf anticipated (inspired?) a lot of subsequent treatments like Underworld and Sparkly Vampires. I guess it would seem clichéd now, even though it was the progenitor.

Wasn't really into RPGs, but wargames, who can say no to owning your own army

It is but was taken from the Pen and Paper RPG. There was also a REALLY bad TV show that had the bloke who played the super soldier in X-Files in it.

VTM: Bloodlines is a FANTASTIC PC game BTW. As per usual with great unknown games it was fucked over by it's publisher. They released it (unfinished) the same day as Half-Life 2 Laughing

Fortunately it has a strong fanbase that have patched, restored and modded the fuck out of it. I haven't played it in 6+ years I'm looking forward to giving it another go as so much development must have gone into it. I just checked and V9.6 of the unofficial patch was released a few weeks back, I think I last played version 2.X Laughing

Anyone who's played KoTOR2 TSLRCM, it's like that (in terms of the fans work)
