They are not at all happy bunny boilers about being mugged off by Sadiq Taqiyya Khan, who totes promised to be their bestest, bestest friend, but has now ghosted them.

MAG wrote:
Leon has had one meeting with [Deputy Mayor of London for Transport and career sponger Val Shawcross] which showed that she and the Mayor are likely to let TfL continue as they have before. Leon adds that this looks likely to stay that way – "Unless we do more, including well directed direct action to change their response to MAG and motorcycling in London"
[...]

Offers of support for direct action against ULEZ taxes on bikes have been made to MAG via Central Office from some potentially influential people

Whoa, let me get my Rage Ride Boots and my Pass the popcorn.

This is the same Leon Manning who, before getting on the MAG payroll, decried direct action and smarmed: "Democracy, not demos. Simples."

It's the same MAG that told the No To London Bike Parking Tax mob to sod off and stop doing demo rides, and that, sotto voce, MAG don't give a stuff about what happens in London.

I wonder if nuMAG has a plan beyond "piss off road users who have no idea what we're doing and why, and completely fail to put any pressure on politicians"? You know, the one they've used for every other rage ride to date.

Fun times ahead, I hope.

That's their super cereal format, it helps ease your brain when reading through the sperg.

By easing it turns you into a 2 year old who will throw toys out of the pram, which is almost exactly what MAG is.

They've been disappointingly mature and reasonable of late though - I do hope this marks a return to dummy-spitting form. Drooling

We have demanded a letter from the police to say they will not use stingers unless they very have to. So there! Folded arms

The Biker No-Go area where the council banned stuff was understandable.
If there are enough wankers to piss folk off then the majority end up paying for it.
It's democracy.

I got fed up with them after The Book, The Tour and the Biscuit Tin (full of dosh) debokle, when they all resigned. ( I think Confused ).

What exactly is direct action going to achieve? do they not pay attention to the fact that there is some sort of march on London every day and nothing ever changes

I can't remember the details but someone called Muche got everyone's dander flying by touring and writing when he was supposed to be working for MAG at the time but was too busy touring and writing so they all fell out and then someone else took the reins.
They still do some good things but they also 'give some nonsense it's head' too like the man-hole cover coating. Smile

A bit of a fallout in the Gang Hut.

I wish I'd paid attention to the detail now that you ask. Smile

Maybe. Neil "diplomatic credentials of a Chieftan tank" Liversedge recently ragequit / was ousted again, and they haven't done anything really embarrassingly self destructive for a while.

Here's hoping. Praying
