Hi all, the thumb lever to operate the rear brake I'm having made for my 96, 600 Bandit will be with me this week, has anyone fitted one similar before? if so, how much hose would I need to reach the rear brake? Any suggestions on which hose to buy, fittings etc?

Measure it with string, account for suspension and bar movement. HEL make custom hoses.

I bought my exup off a friend who, like you, needs a thumb brake. I swapped it over onto the exup for him when he bought it and then oto his new bike when I bought it off him. The actual fitting isn't that difficult but they can be hard to bleed, presumably due to the long pipe length.
