Oil will have anti-foam additives but you always get some bubbles as there are tons of spraying bits.
The anti-foam additive will not let the bubbles become excessive. That would allow air and not oil to be pumped around the system. Air is not a good lubricant.
Unless your foam damper is broken.
Edit: The bike on fire above obviously had a failure of its foam dampener valve, the foam became excessive and ignited when the rider pegged it in a bend and ignited the air-rich mixture.
