Jackings are nothing new...

I used to pick cars up from the auctions back in the 90s in Manchester, and I was always told if anyone bumps you from the rear at the lights, keep going, and never stop for fuel at the nearest petrol station.

They used to watch for the expensive cars coming out the auctions and stopping to fill up at the local Shell garage and then take them, or they'd bump you at the lights nearby and as you got out, someone stood at the lights would drive off in your car.

No,

But doing it to someone with a camera stuck on their noggin shows the feral's are very confident.

"Almost"

That was nowhere near "almost"

That's like saying:-
"I was almost knocked off my bike
I was next to a car at the traffic lights, a police car went past and the car that was next to me jumped the red light."

Royal Jordanian is a fucking drama queen.

The guy believes it may have been the camera (and his last second reverse at the lights) that saved him

It certainly pays to be vigilant and well done him for spotting them so early

And a bit of a pervert, having quickly skimmed some of his other videos, but the lady in the white did did look hot! :p

You could say that if he actually got jacked, he didn't get jacked, you could say 'Londons still shit'.

Kensington High Street? Swarming with police and bystanders, nowhere much to go, I'd have been curious to see the plan....

Ban all foreigners from living abroad.

Given that they turned around and caught up with him, it does look like they were having a think about it. Maybe not on the high street itself, but I wouldn't have fancied parking up anywhere quiet nearby.

Anyway, it'll be meta-ironic when he gets jacked, killed and eaten in Africa.

At 3:17 I'm convinced the bloke on the scooter is reading a book.

Shame the camera was running, or he could have sworn they flashed a gun at him and then assumed his gender.

Snatch bike, ride away, don't stop. Get snapped by hundreds of cameras but don't worry, because the police have better things to do than investigate crime or catch thieves.

Witness statements won't be taken, but the people who saw it, if asked, would say:

"They definitely knew each other, and were having an argument over something. The ones on the scooter were annoyed about something the guy on the big bike had done, and the guy on the big bike was trying to cajole them, and then appeared to be lashing out. But it was all over so quickly. I assumed it was nothing."

I blame all the cyclists and pedestrians. They are slowing us down in London and make that even possible.

That is why I never slow down or stop when riding in London. Even for red lights.

Much safer Thumbs Up

Meanwhile in Phillipines:

Indeed, not the place I'd expect a bike jacking (during the day). Definitely suspicious, although I get black people screwing at me like that fairly often Very Happy

I used to live just off it (further down, Hammersmith Road) and I didn't feel at all comfortable leaving the bike locked outside.

Far far far too much foot traffic, and the chance of a car hitting the bike whilst parallel parking was 100% given enough time.

Never worried about jackings, but then I ride a shed.

Related, I find it hilarious that my 20 year old car still has functioning 'anti hi-jack' and locks the doors. If you're that desperate you need it more than I do...

Yep, that was definitely suspicious. Either that, or it was a setup with his 2 nephews and he just wants to boost his YouTube ratings...

He planned it for some time then, since an unplated scrote wearing the same distinctive lid was out scrumping scootays in May:

OR, he just saw two lads on a stolen scooter, OR even the lads just lost the licence plate? I think, I can even see the ignition key in the scooter.

Who on earth would ''bikejack'' at the broad daylight, on a busy street of London?
