Clutch cover gasket.
Oil and filter. Although my preferrence is to lean the bike way over to the left, change the plates withut dropping the oil, run it for a few miles THEN do an oil and filter change after all the loose yak off the new friction plates has been rubbed off and collected by the filter.
Incidentally, a set of genuine kawasaki clutch plates and springs is usually cheaper than an EBC set. Try Fowlers parts.
For the elephant, make sure the coolant filters leading to and from the carb anti-icing system aren't blocked.
If you're gong to check the tappets, order two new rocker box coolant pipe o-rings when you order the clutch bits. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
