thanks for the great reply, sad to say I cannot construct something as eloquent as that! by CBT is due up in Jan so you are right I should just get it over and done with, I rode my friends 600 quite a few times and enjoyed it much better than my 125, plus at 6ft2 and 19st it is much more comfortable to ride!

if I dont do DAS I will definitely just do the A1 and keep riding my 125 for now - wish the old licence rules were still about where you pass on 125, restricted for 2 years then full licence - it made much more sense i got into biking too late to take advantage of this - 30 soon
