Hi all,
I wanted to share with you my own application i made recently in order to make your life easier at maintaining your motorbike.[I was looking for such app to download to maintain my bike but mostly i found either that i had to pay for it or with a lot of ads, or the design just looked confusing and way too many pointless features with the app so i decided to design the app that was on my head with the design simple clean and easy to use]

For now it only has few of most important task in my opinion that you should do on your bike such as Engine oil change filter, etc etc...
In future i want to make few more features and expand it more but since i dont have much time recently i decided to make it really simple and easy to use and in future expand it.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_i3rv.readytoupload

Tell me what you think guys about it and maybe some features that you would like in future.

Thanks, hope you like it Smile

Looks swish,
Is it available on crapple devices?
Out of curiosity what did you use to develop the app?

Best regards

Damn, I thought my phone was going to develop a positronic brain, grow arms and legs and service my bike for me after downloading that app!

For service reminders I use a pencil, sometimes a pen if I'm feeling lavish, and right down what I change and when in the bike's service book. Sometimes I'm forced to write on the garage walls or a passing cat if no such book exists.

I will charge you one toe nail clipping each for that advice. I promise not to clone you all and develop my own BCF slave army.

It's all very clever but, ultimately, it's a solution to problem that doesn't exist!

As Nitrosurf said, what's wrong with a pencil and paper?
I'm certain that's why they leave blank and half blank pages in repair/maintenance manuals, so you can write stuff on them!

Funnily enough my manuals are covered in greasy, oily, finger prints etc. you sure your idevice is going to like that?

OK, your app seems to have killed my phone. It installed and ran OK, but as soon as I tried to get from the app to the home screen it went to a black screen, and will now only boot to a black screen, with or without safe mode.

Any reason I shouldn't report this to Google as malware?

Hmm, after reading this I decided to uninstall, but when I try to I get an error saying 'package installer has stopped working'. Fucking marvellous.

Your GPS coordinates have been harvested and our couriers are on route to take delivery of your motorcycle(s) on 28 Sep 2016.

If you are not in for collection, we may remove your motorcycle(s) from a 'safe space' such as a garage, walkway, or porch.

Sorry for late reply was working on my bike didnt expected sp many replies
Idk if its because of my app can you describe a bit more what android version/ phone you have. Im using on my lg g5 and its all fine.

Up
I used app inventor to make this app.

Yes you can use booklet etc. And no if you clever enough you not gonna make you phone dirty cuz you just type it after you wash hands or something. And whats point looking for booklet and looking for the page when you can just open in few seconds app on your phone that most likely you have around you all time. One day you will run out of pages or lose booklet and its less likely you lose your phone and tou can update it all time.
In future when i find more time i wanted to make some type of reminder so when you update milage and the difference is higher than recomended between current milage and eg engine oil then it will give you reminder

Well if not it's a hell of a coincidence. It's a Sony Xperia Z2. I don't know what Android version it's on, because I can't get into the phone to find out, due to it having (allegedly) been broken by your app.

The only thing that appears on the screen is the "Power off" menu when I press and hold the power button. It will cycle power on and off, and appears to boot OK, but then goes straight to a black screen.

Steve.

Try pressing power button + volume up + volume down buttons at the same time and hold it up to around 10 seconds and you should have 3 vibrations and screen should turn on [needs to be off when you do it]

I haven't bothered loading the app, but it looks like it can't handle more than one bike? Not that I have any bikes at the moment. Bastards.

Nope, it vibrates three times but doesn't do anything else. Turning it on normally afterwards just gives the same problem.

I'm now trying a "software repair" via Sony PC Companion, which means losing all my personal data.

Steve.

It's a funny old world. Back when computers were a box on/under your desk and the monitor burned your shadow into the wall behind you, most folk wouldn't dream of installing an untested program or application randomly installed from the inter-connected-webofnets.
If you wanted to create something you learned to program and built it with an understanding of the code and the operating system/s it was intended for. In this modern world of hand-tops that occasionally make calls folk will allow any old thing to spew it's GOTO10 guts all over their Pear OS/Robototron devices.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for variety and free stuff. And I'm not so grumpy I think everyone should learn C++ before they clack a keyboard, but what happened to knowing what you're doing and the testing phase?

Sorry OP, don't mean to poo on your post.

Oh. Hello by the way.

Installed.
Google play store stopped responding
Ran app... Looks OK, of you only have 1 bike.
Quit app.
"GUI unexpectedly stopped"
Wallpaper vanished, phone has black background
Uninstalled

Nexus 5, android 6.01.

Can't help feeling I've had a lucky escape
