Feedback wanted - jacket for legs

Hi guys,

I was reading some of the topics on this forum and I think you are the right people to ask - cycling enthusiasts

Since people like you guys, that share the same hobby as us, may be potential users some day, we would really like some feedback from you for the product we developed - after all, think about the fact that you can influence a future brand product!

It's a jacket for legs meant to protect the user against rain. It's easy to use, just like any jacket, but for legs instead of upper body. We made a landing page and a short video to prove the point.

What is your general opinion on the product? Would you find it useful?

What would you improve?

Would you use such a product? If not, who would you recommend it to?

I know that this is my first post here, but we really appreciate your feedback and will help us a lot in launching our product.

"Jacket for legs". There's already a word for it: Trousers.

Pay up quick though, I can't imagine you'll be in business for long, as your gimpsuit looks a bit wonky and there are already about a zillion others like it out there.

The autoplay video (thanks for that) did at least explain the idea. It's actually a decent one.

I often get caught out trying to shove my size tens[*] down a waterproof trouser leg after it's already tipping down and zip on would be a huge improvement for the kind of light showers that do tend to catch us out. Pretty useless in sustained downpours, but there are other solutions for that.

The idea isn't bad, just poor obs from OP. Why so harsh, BCF?

Umm.

Current UK army issue MTP gore-tex trousers have full length zips up the outside of both legs. Delivered to your door for £25.

Got some, on and off in a jiffy. Waist band isn't split so you step into them which is actually quicker than the OPs idea because you don't have to fuck about getting the zip started.

Perhaps you'd better check if this idea has been patented before you start marketing it?
