Luggage for touring

Thinking about Spain later in the year and looking at my old boxes they're all pretty knackered, Broken hinges, a broken lock etc, so looking for some new ones.

Thing is, what to buy? Looked at Givi 3 box set with the rack and fittings but it's damn near 800 quid.

Suggestions (clean ones) most appreciated chaps. Need 3 boxes and could do with losing the home-made rack. Currently have one Givi top box with the mount welded to a modified FJR1300 rack which then has 2 FJR side boxes.

It really depends on what your plans are, where are you staying, is a woman involved.

If you are staying in guest houses or hotels and your missus needs her 2 changes of clothes a night removable hard luggage you can use like a suitcase is indispensable.

If you are camping and the bike is next to you it isn't a problem.

I personally love removable hard cases and if you are going to do this regularly it's worth the investment.

Hard luggage needed. Will be guest houses etc (Wife hates camping) hence needing 3 boxes.

What I have now isn't pretty and not really functional any more.

I've got a pair of near new 35l givi panniers you can have for 150. Been used for two weeks. Monokey ones.

Look on e-bay. I saved £300 by buying Givi stuff direct from Italy.
