I personally think it looks cooler than a polar bear sucking an ice pop... However in the cold light of day, its just going to be another piece of Chinese rubbish that wont last five minutes.

Probably the only Chinese bike that looks cool broken down at the side of a road.

A friend of a friend is considering buying one. Will update if he does.

Look at the rear mudguard. Even their show bike doesn't fit together properly.

I like my little chinese thing, it has a little issue by having no fitted clocks and the chinese are oh so magical when it comes to fabricating a choke ever on the light switch

But those issues aside, I enjoyed riding it.

CG-copy engine should be OK, it's the other bits that tend to go screwy. CMPO don't do parts, which would put me off.

But give it a good going over, look after it, budget for some replacements and it should hold its value better than most other Zing Ping branded bikes. Check about insurance though, you could end up paying a fair bit more if it's not on the main lists.

Still wouldn't pay that much new though.

Had a go on a sky team a couple of years ago. the sporty looking 125 one. I stopped shaking from the vibrations about 2 weeks later. unless they have vastly improved, that bikes not worth more than a couple of hundred.

like the look, tank looks a bit irksome though.

I actually looked at one of these last time I was looking for a daft project. Bigger engine in there, a race fairing, not much else to do to make something really fun. Its construction is so simple that it could be stripped and prepped within a day or two. Frame looks robust, maybe needs a few judicial strengthening plates, but, it is a damn good copy of the Honda 50 SS. I vote fun.

I think it looks pretty cool but still think if I needed a small commuter that I'd feel safer putting my money in a 2nd hand CG/YBR for the same price. If I had to buy new the chinky bike would be more of an option as something like the cbf125 is nearly twice the price.

I'd only consider a wheel change if I couldn't get any tyres to fit the current rim. It's a 125, how many tyres are you going to munch through?

have had a couple of punchers in back wheel but really I just don't like the look - want to raise it up a bit and put something meatier on tyre wise. Any ideas on where I might get chunkier tyres (not full on scramblers) for back wheel 16inc and front wheel 18 inch would be very welcome. Ive looked everywhere and can't find. JtB
