So, today I did buy...............

https://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc378/dannymassive/20161016_215016_zpso1bg75ey.jpg

A 2002 ZX9. One of the last of the carb'd models.

First impressions are that it is reasonably comfortable and the brakes feel sharp - However my last bike was a Hardly Movin' Son so the brakes on a potato would feel better than they did on that!

Am looking forward to going on a good ride over the next few days.

I recently picked up a 1999 YZF-R1, pocket money to buy, in great nick and bleeding heck. These old sports bikes sure can shift Shocked.

They may be dated bikes but they can still put out some great performance Very Happy Certainly look better than many of the latest bikes as well. Not to sure whats going one anymore with styling... Maybe trying to hard to be different?

I completely agree Thumbs Up

There's something about the front end of this bike that I really do like. Especially the air intake under the headlamp, seems well positioned.
