FP1 & FP2 total washouts, snorkel and flippers needed!
FP2 for MotoGP red flagged, not looking good, session suspended for a least 45mins!

Predictions outta the window, could be a lottery, on race day!

Let's see how the next 2 practice sessions and qualifying whittle down the odds.

My predictions are normally made just before the lights go out. Like who would've predicted both factory Yams sliding out at Motegi Surprised

What we do know; Cal is good in the wet and 93,46 Miller, Dovi...If they stay on. Smile

Was McPhee still fastest in Moto3 FP2...Him and that Malaysian lad are pretty handy if it's a soaking track.

Love Philip Island...Mental circuit dry/wet. Cool Cool

McPhee was fastest in FP2, however he was still 4s down on the best time from FP1, FP1 was also wet but nowhere near as wet as FP2!

Laverty was looking good in the last wet race, be good to see him on the podium, it would also be good to see Hayden, (standing in for Pedrosa), who was no slouch in the recent wet WSBK race, beat MM in the wet!

Not sure what the forecast is for raceday, but the forecast for Saturday ain't good!

Race day should be dry.

Kent put in some solid times in the rain in moto2 too, go bits!

If it is dry on race day I suspect it'll be the usual factory lot at the top.

Well, that's a big OOPs for Yamaha in qualifying!
Looks like JLO's head's gone, over 6s off the best session time on a nearly dry track.
Rossi a further 5s back, didn't make it to Q2, although conditions were a lot more difficult, his team screwed up a bit with tyres!
Crutch on the front row!

Gonna be a battle on track, if it's a dry race, elbows out all the way!

What I should've said.

'What we do know; Predictions are futile' Smile

Disappointed with Sam Lowes, and Zarco crashed out twice so Sam was in good company.

I hope for a soaking wet Moto3 race and a dry GP race...The Moto2 I have never really taken to. I want full prototype bikes in the top classes.

Well Sam lowes did eventually qualify 3rd, despite the crashes!
McPhee to swim around, again, for a win, you say?
MotoGP, too hard to call, especially if it's wet!

Moto 2 was ok. MotoGP though! Intelligent riding and a great win from Cal.

Has Moto3 been rebranded as a demolition derby?

Dunno what's happened to Zarco, in Moto2.

An exciting MotoGp race, can't believe there were many who predicted that result!
A great race from Cal and Rossi, but you've go to ask the question, WTF has happened to JLO? I imagine there'll be a few people scratching their heads at Ducati, just now.
IMO, JLO's going to struggle next year, is he known as a good developement rider? If he isn't he'll have a melt down, if wins don't come!

I was wondering why the commentators were so surprised at lorenzo's performance, he's been shite all season whenever the weather has been iffy.

It was dry enough for him I think but his head doesn't seem to be in it now; title gone, moving to a new team, no incentive.
